Coincidentally or not, but very suspiciously, since the last 14th, just after my latest posts on the farce of the 9/11, as well as the friendly adhesion of the very Supreme Leader of the Iranian Shias to my Facebook main page, my account in the same has not allowed me to access it without providing a cellular number I happen not to possess. This means that I am no longer able to add new posts to it nor interact with it anyhow — what, besides, has really been the case since then. The worst is that there is no available manner to contact Facebook from the outside to report the problem to them. And so its systemic structure ends up proving to be completely closed — what, by the way, is typical of any multinational. The irony is that, at the juncture, I had no idea who was that who, by the clothing, appeared to be a Muslim leader. Anyway, to overcome the desolation provoked by such an unexpected occurrence and assess better the situation, I threw then myself into researching a little about the problem and, thus, ended up discovering that (1) the same has been happening with many, many people; and that (2) such an arbitrary attitude of Facebook has been not only under serious criticism but also under judicial dispute. Therefore, know that such a problem must take some time and struggle to be solved. Whether or not this is a case of digital piracy, or totalitarian monitorship, or wild capitalism (to force the selling of cellular phones accounts, at least), or cybernetic problematics — I do not know. But, who can trust in corporations? In any case, as a precaution against undercover Nazis, I spread many appeals for help throughout the net during the past week, expressing my plausible concern with the issue — particularly to my Muslim brothers. After all, the material I published then must have corresponded to one of the first serious attempts to expose clearly in Brazil (1) not only all the aggregate of evidences contrary to the official version of the 9/11, (2) but also the very petition of the “9/11 truth” movement itself — apparently unnoticed by everybody, not only here, but even by the Muslims. (Confer “Islam under attack”). On the other hand, thanks to such a trouble, my awareness and knowledge about net security procedures increased a lot in the meantime. For it is never too late to remember that (1) the very same itself is but a tool of globalization — always more inclined to indulge with spies, pirates and perverts than with people ready to debate about dialogue and justice; nor that (2) it is just in the very field of communication where one of the main battles of the present is evolving in fact. Therefore, know that I may well remain out of Facebook for a while. But, let me not lose any time and opportunity here. We never know: it (the Facebook account) may well go away again! Dearest Muslim leader Aabid Waqar: now fully aware of who you are, forgive me any possible non-deliberate disrespect or arrogance against you on daring to suggest to you what I anyway will now do naively for the sake of Islam: (1) observe, please, that the 9/11 truth movement petition happens to be recommended by globalresearch.com — which, in its turn, is so too by Fidel Castro himself (who, by the way, has even written in there recently — I myself used such a post of him in my blogs under the title ‘The warn of Noah’: http://followingtheopenway.posterous.com/ ); that is: this petition seems to be trustworthy; (2) so: if you, among others Muslim leaders, jointly with Fidel, Chaves, Evo, Frei Beto, Chomsky, maybe Hans Kung — allies who certainly would help you — invite all the non-white people from the 3 Americas who listen all of you — millions and millions of Christians, Leftists and Muslims — to sign that petition, it could well provoke a relevant impact over the ongoing Western resolutions regarding Iran, preventing thus the 3rd world war! For, until now, and very strangely, only less than 8 thousand persons like me have already come to do that. In the name of God, I can attest to you my sincerity and good intention — naively or not — in this affair. Sorry, if somehow I am here incurring in any error. God bless you. P.S.: As soon as I can, I will post all this authentic soap in my other blogs and sites. They may well have done that only because I am nobody and have accidentally touched in a delicate point — the petition. But, if that was really the case, they have underestimated the heroism of a Muslim. ‘Praise be to God alone!’ — Who, besides, has been giving me this undeserved privilege of taking some part of such a holy struggle." Victory after 14 days The above — with minor spelling mistakes now corrected — corresponds to the message I sent to my Facebook friend Aabid Waqar and to my corresponding group “Following the open way” as soon as I happened to realize this morning that my respective account had been inexplicably unblocked again. And I did that so, in this hurry, for fear that they — the empire behind multinationals like Facebook — could try to undermine somehow the credibility of my report on their recent behavior in relation to me before I had chance to explain well everything to you, dear reader. But God helped me and I succeeded to register the entire occurrence, as you can confer in these print-scren pictures: click here or over the last picture bellow. Anyway, if you are interested in what I have to say, the place to look for that is here, in this site. Do not rely on my Facebook account, which may well vanish another time. Conclusion 4 days later, 02/10/10, Brazil: Only in the last hours, I happened to realize that, in the midst of all this worry, I myself had committed a serious mistake: the abovementioned Aabid Waqar is not anyhow the Supreme Leader of the Iranian Shias himself — much though the man portrayed in the picture exhibited jointly with his name is indeed. Aabid Waqar — according to what I could discover through the internet up to now — seems to be another Muslim leader about whom I am not able to say much, except that he maintains very interesting accounts in Facebook and Twitter. In reality, judging by the content of his pages, he seems to be another good example of how Muslims do not fear to confront injustice. However, such a confusion does not affect the pertinence of (1) my report, (2) nor of my respective concern, (3) nor of the victory God gave over Facebook. For the empire has indeed been somehow monitoring at least in the internet everyone who is facing its perversities — especially the Muslims. In reality, after a better consideration, such a gaffe ends up only stressing the voluntaristic character of my own initiative, which does not happen to be backed by any organization or collective structure — what, besides, seems to be very common in this world of the digital activism, especially among Muslims. For that is the spirit of Islam: counting on God only in your personal battles.
